Ah, sweater weather. The term brings warmth and cozy feelings to my remembrance. Snow falling in the mountains always had me reaching for one of my dad’s old wool sweaters to layer in before I hopped on the tractor. When living in the city, I would make sure to throw a cardigan into my purse before dashing out the door to catch the train. For all of my chilly weather needs, sweaters have always there to wrap me up in a warm sense of bliss, as a necessary layer, as a statement, as a comfort piece.

Mother Road, Main Street of America, Will Rogers Highway, different names for the same path; the legendary Route 66. Constructed in 1926, stretching from California to Illinois, this highway is the most iconic and popular route since the Silk Road. AMPUTATING A PET’S LIMB

For many pet owners, the thought of their furry friend losing a limb can be scary or sad. However, pets with certain conditions, such as bone cancer, can benefit from amputating a limb. In fact, in some situations, amputation can actually improve a pet’s quality of life.

Dr. Jacqueline Davidson, clinical professor at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, explained how animal amputees can still live normally.
