Top American Quarter Horse Named at World Championship Ranch Rodeo
When DMAC Dow Jones, a 2004 red roan son of Hesa Peptospoonful, was named Top Horse and Top American Quarter Horse of the 2015 World Championship Ranch Rodeo, his owner and rider, Buster Frierson, was quick to give credit where credit’s due.

APHA Open-Amateur World Show dates to change in 2017
Beginning in 2017, the APHA Open & Amateur World Championship Show will take place in September at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Fort Worth or Oklahoma? For trainers, exhibitors and judges who love both Paints and Quarter Horses, the tough choice between the AQHA and APHA World Championship Shows will be eliminated in a few short years. Based on feedback from APHA exhibitors and market analysis, the dates of the APHA World Championship Show will shift from November to September beginning in 2017.
